How do GeoSnake renewals work?
Summary
What to expect before a plan renews.
What this is and why it matters
Renewal timing is shown on the Billing page. The useful question is not whether renewal exists, it is whether the organization reviewed plan fit before the renewal date arrives.
Most billing work happens in `/dashboard/billing`. That page is the source of truth for the current plan, invoices, renewal timing, payment issues, and any Stripe-backed manage flow that is available to the organization.
What to do
- Open `/dashboard/billing` and check the current renewal date, plan amount, and current subscription state.
- Review whether the current plan still matches users, tracked entities, feature needs, and reporting depth.
- Make any upgrade or scheduled downgrade decision before the next billing event instead of reacting afterward.
- If finance needs documentation, pull the latest invoice and plan details before renewal week.
Helpful tips
- Do not leave renewals to the last day.
- If the team has not built a review habit, renewal noise is usually self-inflicted.
- Use renewal as a plan-fit review, not as your first time opening Billing in months.
Possible issues and troubleshooting
- If the page does not show the action you expected, check whether you are signed in as an owner or admin for the current organization.
- If billing details, invoices, or payment status look stale, refresh the Billing page before assuming the data is wrong.
- If a paid billing flow is handled outside self-serve checkout, treat that as a managed plan or procurement case rather than a product bug.
What to do next
If the issue is still unresolved, collect the organization name, invoice or renewal date, and a screenshot of the exact billing state before contacting support.
